“TLDR of my [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Supplements/s/SBNQ7EqFrY): I took 450mg 40% bacosides for 70 days, Memory may have slightly benefited but anhedonia was horrible to deal with”
U/BBIGM ↗“For some sensitive people, like me, quickly develop the lack of motivation and anhedonia. On the first day I experienced sedation. I experienced on the second day the lethargy and apathy. I still continued for about a week, If I remember correctly, which caused extreme irritability. I generally feel more strongly than other people the sedating effects of substances. I have also trialed Concerta (methylphenidate), and I couldn't tell the difference between it and a placebo. I do have diagnosed narcolepsy which could explain why I feel the way I do.”
U/KOMPUTER_ONE ↗“I found it immensely grounding and calming with respect to how I was feeling at the time I used it. After about a week at 300mg though I started to feel lethargic and sort of emotionally numb so I stopped. Everything rebounded a couple days later and was fine. It really helped by kicking my body out of constant state of fight/flight. I want to start using it again, but I dont think the 300mg dose is right for me. Id probably start with maybe 100mg but I bought the tablets and am too lazy to cut or crush them up. Maybe if I had a small spice grinder or something \*shrug\*.”
