“Space out your meals into 4 meals per day, not two. You’re eating too much at once. Digestive system can only process a certain amount of fat and protein at once, the rest is wasted and passes through you. Your body can’t absorb what seems like enough calories. For example, eat 3 eggs twice rather than 5 eggs at once. 200g mutton at once twice per day, not 450g. 3 hours between each meal is necessary for optimal protein take-up especially (both for stomach acid digestion and how your body processes it into tissue). 2 hours for fat (bile needs to build up).”
U/ELOQUENENTIC ↗“I have Crohn's disease and have been able to put it in remission, so I understand your problem. My advice would be to completely eliminate anything other than red meat, salt, and water for a week or two and see if that helps, because I found that eggs don't always agree with me. I've been gaining weight and have had no bloating now after doing just red meat, salt, and water. You can start adding things back slowly, too, if you want, after doing that.”
