Cicaplast is my holy grail for my Tret nights. It's a forever repurchase and I stock up at least three. Each tube lasts at least 3months.

Cicalfate all the way!!! It’s much more rich and moisturizing. I used to have a stash of cicaplast for the past 2-3 years and it really changed my skin from acne y tons of hyperpigmentation to an 80% clear skin, but since the formula has been changed in EU it hasn’t been the same and it feels more drying than anything. Just dries on my skin without actually absorbing or feeling moisturized. I’ve switch to cicalfate a couple months ago and it feels much better. Also cicaplast can be pore clogging.

Don’t mind the shitty judgmental comments on here. A lot of people use this as a “holy grail” for repairing their skin barrier. Personally, it’s a little too thick for my oily/combo skin unless I’ve got some windburn during winter. Or if I’m feeling a tiny bit raw after exfoliating or doing a peel. It does, however, work wonders in helping to restore my son’s moisture barrier. He has very dry skin and has severe eczema. It helps if you let it sit overnight. It’s great for sensitive skin.

Add context that might help others — skin type, conditions like PCOS, what you'd tried before. The more specific, the more useful.
