you're welcome. don't post much on reddit and just found this sub since I was curious if anyone else used it. Icy Hot was my "Get out of Jail Free" card for the last few times I had it but this time it didnt work since it was severe and both sides. I think it really works on the muscles on the jaw and relaxes them. I use it three to four times a day.

I take frankincense ( bowellia) internally on a daily basis for pain and have never had any feeling that it's a psychotropic substance. I've taken Myrrh internally as needed for infection, never had any feeling of a psychotropic effect. But that's just me.

Frankincense may help with acne due to its mild anti-inflammatory actions. Dilute it (around 1-2%) with a carrier oil of your choice. >5% frankincense can cause skin sensitization. There is no scientific evidence to support the use of essential oils for scars. If you have post inflammatory hyperpigementation, use vitamin C serum or alpha hydroxy acids and wear sunscreen. If you have pitted scars, please see a dermatologist.

Add context that might help others — skin type, conditions like PCOS, what you'd tried before. The more specific, the more useful.
