Dilute it (around 1-2%) with a carrier oil of your choice. >5% frankincense can cause skin sensitization. There is no scientific evidence to support the use of essential oils for scars. If you have post inflammatory hyperpigementation, use vitamin C serum or alpha hydroxy acids and wear sunscreen. If you have pitted scars, please see a dermatologist.”
