“I'm an experienced smoker. I took a break and used *broad* spectrum CBD (No THC) at the highest dose I could find to help me sleep in case I needed it. I took 200mg max, and it was enough to help me avoid the temporary insomnia when I stop smoking. I'd say it was enough to relax me. 450MG is an absolutely enormous dose.”
U/PABLOBABLO ↗“I have a CBD rub on stick 300 mg. Also has peppermint oil and menthol added. It works better than anything else I've tried for my osteoarthritis, with bone on bone in one knee. No side effects.”
U/[DELETED] ↗“CBD is capable of causing mania for me. Without fail every time I use it I find myself in some crazy debate or flipping out or acting disinhibited without realizing. Likely this is related to 5HT1a and GABA signaling. 5HT1a is the downstream target for many antidepressants. Many of those antidepressants produce mania in bipolar patients. It’s also worth noting that THC gives me more self control. But I don’t really use it anymore.”
