It's the glycine. There are people who react very well to it and people who don't tolerate it at all.

Ashwaghanda and magnesium have chilled me out so much. Combination of better sleep, which in turn gives me more energy during the day and overall feel so much happier. I still feel wound up sometimes but I know it will pass. I used to dread going to bed with the anticipation that I’d be waking up multiple times. I’m so excited to go to bed now and I’m shocked when I look at the clock and I’ve managed to sleep through. I used to wake up so full of nervous energy as if I’d had an electric shock. Now I ease out of sleep like a regular person feeling refreshed!

Magnesium glycinate gives me terrible insomnia. I normally sleep well and fall asleep quickly. If I take magnesium Glycinate it's almost impossible for me to sleep, I will be up all night. I switched to magnesium malate and I sleep fine again.
