Nad Injections for Weight Loss

RESEARCH

  • NAD precursors improve insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism in some studies, but evidence for weight loss specifically remains unclear.

COMMUNITY

  • IV NAD boosted energy for some users, but subcutaneous/IM injections and oral forms didn't work for others despite multiple attempts.

SAFETYNAD may interact with certain medications affecting DNA repair or metabolism; people with metabolic disorders should discuss supplementation with a doctor.

I swear by NAD injections. My first encounter with it was IV, I was deathly ill, pretty sure it was COVID before we knew it was in the US.. and I had my fitness test for the AF coming up the next day. I had been dead on the couch for 3 weeks, went in and paid an obscene amount for the IV -- I felt incredible and got up the next morning and kicked that PT tests ass the next day. I did still throw up once during my run because my lungs were filled with junk.. but truly incredible stuff. I now do IM or SubQ, same same for efficacy and love the energy it provides.

IV NAD really massively helped me get through a stressful (socially) period and allowed me to be sociable and alert. Felt energized instead of depleted. It really helps me every time I do it. The IV is pricey though and is damn uncomfortable to take. I then switched to NAD injections. It does literally nothing for me. I’m pretty much done with wasting my money. Doesn’t give me any perceptible boost or energy or alertness. Took a niagen IV. Did nothing either. Just sharing!

I wish it worked that way with me!🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm up to 200mg, and nothing! I've bought 3 different kits, all tested, hoping that it was just bad product, but nope ... it's just me...not everyone has a positive outcome on it. I really wanted (needed) it to be effective. Now I need to figure out what to do with 26 vials of it!😂

Add context that might help others — skin type, conditions like PCOS, what you'd tried before. The more specific, the more useful.
