Oat Extract for Skin Health

RESEARCH

  • Oats definitely lower cholesterol in real trials, and lab studies show their compounds protect skin cells—but actual human skin benefits haven't been proven yet in solid research.

COMMUNITY

  • Users praise the oat cleanser's effectiveness and note the Vit C is solid but results take time, especially without retinoids.

SAFETYOats are safe for most people, but those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity should use certified gluten-free oat products.

COMMUNITY SENTIMENT

75% positive

That oat cleanser is so much better than the Cetaphil and Cerave gentle cleansers. It actually cleans without that weird film. I’ve been meaning to try the Aquaporin booster since I really enjoy hyaluronic acid, but hesitate because I really love the oat one. PS - their oil cleanser is a new product and VERY good. The Vit C is a solid formulation with a stable form of Ascorbic Acid and has a mild exfoliant. But if you’re using retinoids, then those will be doing the heavy lifting. Because it’s a lower strength yeah it may very well take longer than a month to show results.
