Topical Copper Serum for Skin

RESEARCH

  • Copper works well against inflammation in lab animal tests, but there's no proof it helps human skin when rubbed on—swallowing copper with zinc and selenium works better for wound healing.

COMMUNITY

  • Mixed results—some see wrinkle improvement, but others warn about 'copper uglies' causing sagging and collagen breakdown concerns.

SAFETYCopper can trigger or worsen certain skin conditions in sensitive people; check with a doctor before use if you have porphyria or copper sensitivity.

Copper peptide is amazing. It took away fine wrinkles by the eyes for me and my eye bag swelling has drastically regressed. One month on it applying once a day on the general area of the face and twice below the eyes and I feel like I’ve shaved a few years off my face’s age already.

If you're not familiar with the "copper uglies" sometimes when using copper it starts breaking down old collagen faster than it builds it back and causes sudden sagging. People typically have to discontinue it in order for their skin to recover.
