I took trazadone for a year and a half. Worked a charm and I loved it. But (like all SSRI, SNRI and SARI meds) it can cause bruxism and TMJ over time and I had to stop taking it when I discovered that my year long horrific jaw pain was a result of my trazadone. I've been off of it for a month and am working on rehabbing my jaw. I miss sleeping though.

I was going through a depressive/anxiety episode, along with a nicotine addiction and a lot of stress, that caused me to have a lot of difficulty getting more than 4 hours of sleep in a row. Trazadone was like a miracle for me, in that i could take 25mg and reliably go to sleep, or if I fell asleep without it and woke up in the middle of the night, take 25mg to get that last extra 4 hours of much needed sleep.

Yes. Same here. Just took 50mg last night and slept 9 hours but feel exhausted and like I got hit by a train. Face feels tired and droopy and I look older with bags under my eyes.
