Sigh. How about you don't use whey? Now some warriors will come at me with pdcaas/diaas bs, but study after study shows that the difference in MPS between Whey and well blended plant protein is negligible. Even if you assume 80% efficacy, the cost factor alone is worth the switch. If not complete switch, just mix and match. And who wears 4500 gym shoes lmao. There are many optimizations one can do here, and again, this is not a hobby, this is a conscious lifestyle choice. You skip alcohol, smoking, ordering junk food, future medical bills for this. So it's a net gain.

Gym - that is the rate here. It is a good well equiped gym too. And have almost never had to queue for equipment. Just 5-7 people around when I go. It has almost all machines. And 90% of my workout is with machines only. Whey - one scoop in milk in morning, one in evening. That gives like 60gram protein. I need 120. And require more than two kg per month I have chicken quarter on alternative days, sometimes daily. But still it reaches only about 100grams total protein most days. Eggs inconsistently.

my gym - 500 per month whey - 6000 per month Shoes - zero. Dont use. Cloths - 5-6 of 100rupee T-shirt and 500rupee jogging pants. Chicken - 5000 per month Eggs - didnt count Fruits - 2000 per month. mainly oranges. And this doesnt count milk, and normal homely food. So yes, Protein in expensive.
